kerana saya memilih untuk tidak berkahwin awal. catatan unknown ini ada
benarnya.
Saya selalu meniliti status-status rakan saya yang menerangkan tentang
kelebihan bernikah. Pada masa dahulu, ketika saya masa maseh lagi terjangkit
sindrom gatal ini, saya juga sangat suka mempromosi perkahwinan, kahwin awal
dan kelebihan-kelebihan berkahwin.
Namun, setelah beberapa waktu, saya merasakan sindrom ini menjadi satu
penyakit yang amat berbahaya. Ianya bukan menyelesaikan masalah, malah ia
memberi satu masalah lain.
Saya tidak menolak kelebihan pernikahan. Saya juga tidak mahu menolak
kelebihan yang boleh saya dapat sekiranya saya berkahwin awal. Tetapi saya
ingin menyeru kepada semua rakan-rakan saya supaya kita kembali meneliti dan
bertanya, apakah sebenarnya prioriti kita di dalam kehidupan sebagai seorang
belia?
Saya cukup bimbang penyakit yang membuak-buak ingin berkahwin awal ini
membuatkan kita terlupa tentang prioriti kita. Apakah kita semua tidak tahu
bahawa sebuah perkahwinan itu bukan perkara yang main-main? Apakah kita semua
tidak tahu bahawa perkahwinan itu suatu bentuk hubungan yang perlu
dipertahankan? Apakah kita semua tidak sedar bahawa perkahwinan itu merupakan
satu perkongsian hidup kita dengan hidup orang lain yang membuatkan kita wajib
menerima segala kelemahan dia?
Cakap memang mudah. Ada yang mengatakan, apabila sudah berkahwin, maka
segalanya akan selesai. Masalah zina akan selesai, masalah hati akan selesai,
masalah kewangan akan selesai, masalah disiplin akan selesai, saya berasa amat
ragu-ragu dengan perkara ini.
Saya sudah katakan, yang saya tidak menolak kebaikan yang ada pada
perkahwinan. Tetapi kita perlu ingat, perkahwinan bukanlah penyebab kita
menjadi baik. Ramai orang berkahwin, tetapi perangainya maseh tidak elok.
Hakikatnya, ia bukan bergantung ke atas perkahwinan, tetapi ia bergantung ke
atas kesedaran kita untok berubah dari sekarang.
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sedangkan sebelum kahwin pun, kita melayan
ramai perempuan atau lelaki sehingga hati kita mempunyai banyak 'hubungan
sulit' bersama ramai orang? Adakah kita jamin, sebaik sahaja kita berkahwin dan
mempunyai ikatan sah, tabiat playboy dan buaya itu akan hilang?
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sedangkan sebelum kahwin pun, kita tak mampu
merancang hidup untok diri sendiri. Sepatutnya, semasa usia muda ini, kita
seharusnya mengambil semaksima peluang bagi memantapkan kewangan dan ilmu kita.
Apa yang berlaku sekarang, tatkala cuti semester sahaja, kita akan duduk
mengangkang di rumah, mengharapkan bantuan duit mak ayah. Lagi satu, apabila
ditanya apakah perancangan masa depan, kita langsung tidak dapat memikirkannya
kerana kita memang malas nak berfikir tentang itu. Kalau perancangan hidup
sendiri pun tidak ada, bagaimana kita nak merancang hidup pasangan kita?
Bagaimana kita nak merancang hidup anak-anak kita?
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sedangkan pengetahuan agama kita pun
kurang? Ini belum sentuh lagi tentang amal tentang pengetahuan agama. Saya
tidaklah ingin menyuruh kita semua mengetahui sedalam-dalamnya tentang agama.
Namun, sekurang-kurangnya, sebagai bakal suami atau isteri, kita wajib
mengetahui asas-asas dalam agama. Azan, bacaan doa selepas solat, iqamat, doa
qunut, tatacara mandi wajib, tajwid Al-Quran, semuanya kita maseh lagi belum
lulus. Pengetahuan agama kita sedikit itu tak apa, tetapi sikap PEMALAS nak
belajar tentang agama itu amatlah mendukacitakan. Yang lebih sedih, orang
pemalas belajar agama inilah yang beria-ia nak membina sebuah baitul Muslim.
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sedangkan sebelum perkahwinan, kita suka
merendah-rendahkan taraf wanita? Kita selalu menganggap bahawa syurga isteri di
bawah kaki suami dan perempuan wajib taat bodoh dengan suami. Hakikatnya, tiada
mana-mana Hadith yang mengatakan syurga isteri di bawah tapak kaki suami.
Sesiapa yang mengatakan syurga di bawah kaki suami itu perlu diberikan tapak
kaki pada mukanya.
Sebagai bakal suami, minda kita tidak boleh fikir bahawa isteri itu wajib
taat bodoh terhadap suaminya. Taat bodoh ini bermaksud, isteri perlu redha apa
sahaja yang suaminya buat sama ada betul atau salah. Ini satu pendapat yang
jahil. Seorang isteri mempunyai hak untok berbicara dan memberikan pendapatnya
apabila sesuatu masalah berlaku. Salah satu keruntuhan rumah tangga disebabkan
sang suami sendiri tidak hormat terhadap isterinya sendiri. Mengapa ini
berlaku? Ia disebabkan sebelum berkahwin lagi, sang suami memang berfikiran
bahawa perempuan tidak berguna dan lemah. Apabila berjumpa dengan perempuan, di
dalam fikirannya terlalu banyak skeptikal bahawa perempuan ini adalah satu kaum
yang lebih rendah daripada lelaki. Sehinggakan menentang perempuan untok
menjadi pemimpin. Ini yang perlu dibersihkan oleh lelaki sekiranya ingin layak
untok berkahwin.
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sedangkan sebelum perkahwinan, kita sudah
pun menjadi kedekut. Ini yang saya tidak faham. Ramai golongan yang menggatal
nak kahwin tapi tak berapa layak ini, berpendapat bahawa sekiranya kita
berkahwin, maka masalah kewangan akan selesai kerana Tuhan sudah berjanji
sekiranya lelaki dan perempuan berkahwin, Tuhan akan berikan rezeki yang tidak
terjangka.
Padahal sepatutnya, kita perlu menilai juga janji Tuhan yang lain seperti:
Dan di antara mereka ada yang membuat janji dengan Allah dengan
berkata:“Sesungguhnya jika Allah memberi kepada kami dari limpah kurniaNya,
tentulah kami akan bersedekah, dan tentulah kami akan menjadi dari orang-orang
yang soleh”
(At-Taubah 9:75)
Tetapi apa yang mendukacitakan, ramai yang ingin berkahwin dengan alasan,
'bila berkahwin, rezeki dapat banyak'. Tetapi sebelum berkahwin, kita sangat
sangat kedekut nak bersedekah. Nampak peminta sedekah, kita buat-buat tak
nampak. Nampak orang yang memerlukan pertolongan, kita buat-buat tak nampak.
Nampak orang yang sedang susah, kita buat-buat tak nampak. Sedangkan semua itu
merupakan peluang untok kita menambahkan rezeki. Bukan hanya perkahwinan sahaja
menambahkan rezeki. Duit ada, tetapi simpan tak mahu bersedekah. Kudrat ada,
tetapi disimpan sebab malas nak tolong orang lain.
Jadi kenapa nak sembang kencang yang perkahwinan ni menambahkan rezeki
padahal sebelum kahwin, kita tidak ada pun lakukan perkara yang menambahkan
rezeki seperti bersedekah? Adakah kita ni hipokrit ataunya kita hanya nak
mengambil kebaikan berkahwin itu semata-mata kerana kita terlalu sangap nak
berkahwin? Sepatutnya, sebelum kahwin inilah kita banyakkan sedekah, sekiranya
kita benar-benar ingin mendapat rezeki yang banyak selepas berkahwin. Insha
Allah, banyakkan sedekah, dan kurangkan gejala gatal nak kahwin tapi tak mampu
itu, maka anda akan mendapat rezeki yang lebih tinggi daripada yang anda
jangka.
Bagaimana kita hendak berkahwin, sekiranya hubungan dengan ibu dan ayah kita
sendiri pun kita tak ikatkan? Apabila kita berkahwin nanti, bukan sahaja ibu
bapa kita perlu dijaga, malah ibu bapa pasangan kita itu juga perlu dijaga.
Mampukah kita membina hubungan baik bersama keempat-empat orang tua tersebut
sedangkan sebelum berkahwin, dua orang tua pun kita tidak mampu jaga
perhubungannya?
Ada yang kata, apabila sudah berkahwin, maka nafsu boleh dikawal. Tahukah
anda bahawa selain daripada perkahwinan, ada hadith lain yang memberikan
alternatif untok kita mengawal nafsu?
Rasulullah bersabda, bermaksud: “Wahai golongan pemuda! Sesiapa yang
berkemampuan untuk al-baah maka hendaklah dia berkahwin kerana sesungguhnya
perkahwinan itu lebih menundukkan pandangan dan memelihara kemaluan. Sesiapa
yang tidak mampu maka hendaklah dia berpuasa kerana puasa itu penghalang
baginya (daripada syahwat).” – (Riwayat Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi, Nasai, Abu
Daud, Ibn Majah).
Nah, Tuhan sendiri berikan kita alternatif dan menerangkan kita tentang
cara-cara menundukkan nafsu. Ianya bukan sekadar berkahwin, tetapi ia
termasuklah menundukkan pandangan, memelihara kemaluan dan BERPUASA. Berapa
ramaikan antara kita yang menggatal nak kahwin, tetapi mereka mengikut
langkah-langkah yang Nabi anjurkan ini? Jawapannya: Sangat sedikit. Ramai yang
maseh nak berkahwin disebabkan 'ingin mengurangkan nafsu'. Padahal tak pula dia
melakukan alternatif yang Nabi sudah anjurkan berdasarkan Hadith tersebut.
Apa adakah kita ingat perkahwinan ini satu benda yang main-main? Hari ni
nikah, lepas tu 'happy forever ever', ada anak, ada cucu, kemudian mati? TIDAK!
Di dalam hubungan sesama adik beradik kita pun akan ditimpa ujian, apatah lagi
hubungan dengan orang yang tidak punya pertalian darah dengan kita iaitu
pasangan kita. Mampukah kita menghadapi semua itu? Mampukah kita menyelesaikan
masalah pasangan kita? Mampukah kita bertahan dengan pasangan kita yang panas
baran, yang tiba-tiba berubah menjadi lain macam setelah bernikah? Pernah tak
kita terfikir semua ini?
Banyak lagi yang ingin saya tulis, tetapi saya merasakan poin-poin ini
merupakan poin yang lebih besar untok kita bermuhasabah diri. Saya tidak mahu
rakan-rakan saya dan diri saya yang menggatal nak kahwin sangat ni, tetapi
tidak menunaikan prioriti yang lebih besar sebagai seorang belia. Kita perlu
bermuhasabah, dan perlu berfikir sedalam-dalamnya tentang hubungan yang kita
mahukan itu. Jangan sampai disebabkan keghairahan kita nak berkahwin tanpa
persediaan mental, akhirnya musnah sebuah mahligai yang kita bina.
Perkahwinan tidak menyelesaikan apa-apa masalah. Tetapi semua masalah perlu
diselesaikan sebelum perkahwinan.
